Frankfurt 11' Preview: Subaru BRZ coupe

Subaru has just announced a name for its new sports car, the Subaru BRZ. "BRZ" stands for "Boxer engine", "Rear-wheel drive" and "Zenith." Subaru claims that the name "embodies ultimate passion for the new sports car and confidence in its distinctive trademark and core technology: the "Horizontally-Opposed Subaru Boxer engine."
Scion FRS - Redbull soapbox racer
This is Scion FR-S - a custom downhill racer built for Red Bull’s Soapbox Derby, and unlike the cardboard-ramshackle boxes , it actually sports a modicum of high-tech components. Concept car builder Five:Axis built a custom, CAD-designed aluminum space frame around a full TEIN suspension and Wilwood disc brakes, then draped the goofy, cute Toyota-aping bodywork on top.

The FT-86 is back at Nurburgring, Germany. Here are a few spy shots. Compared to the test mule spied last year, this FT86 testcar has the proper body. The car is masked, but you can notice the similarities to the original FT86 Concept and FT86 II Concept.
