Holinger 6 speed sequential gearbox

Formula Drift round 4 also known as The Gauntlet took place at the Wall Stadium Speedway in New Jersey last weekend. It is one of the best tracks to watch an event where the drivers start riding the banked wall and make almost two laps around the speedway. The race was completely sold out! In our previous coverage from Homestead-Miami Speedway we spoke about how hot this season is for the Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S drivers and how unfortunate this season actually had been for the either high or low budget FT86 teams.
It's that wonderful time of the year. Nurburgring is packed. It's 24 hour race time! The day all the teams have been waiting for and preparing and qualifying with their cars for the past season. From big manufacturer sponsored racecar teams to private individuals. We've been following the various Toyota teams for the past years who participate this year too with 86, GT86 and LF-A. But this year another team is joining - All on Horst! The project name of this team as they are just about ready to race. Horst is the name of their Subaru BRZ that has been prepared by this private low budget team.
The round 3 of Formula D PRO championship took place on 30th and 31st of May in South Florida for the first time at the Homestead-Miami Speedway infield track. While the FT86 cars are not the easiest to work on and develop a drift platform, the hype around the world is still huge and for the love of it we see more and more of these cars converted into true race cars. In this event a record number of the FT-86 platform participants took part - six Scion FR-S drivers and one Subaru BRZ. But it didn't go smooth.
