Toyota FT-86 wheel bolt pattern - 5x100? I thought it could be calculated just by using bigger images, I`m not sure if I did the measurements correctly, but they seem logical. Here we go.
------------------
The wheels on FT-86 images are R19
19in = 482.6 mm (according to Google :P)
According to Wikipedia: The wheel size is the diameter of the wheel in inches where the beads of the tire seat on the wheel.
Using the full size Toyota provided image of FT-86 concept, I tried to calculate pixels vs mm. So all calculations are related to this very image.
The bolt-pattern in pixels of the image is about 332px (measuring between bolt #1 and #3 in whatever order).
I tried to find the place where the beads of the tire seat on the wheel just by looking at the picture, so the calculations might be way off. So I measured approximate minimum and maximum diameter of the possible wheel inner side in pixels. About 1544px minimum and 1701 maximum
482.6 (mm) / 1544 (px) * 332 (px) = 103.7 (mm)
482.6 (mm) / 1701 (px) * 332 (px) = 103.7 (mm) = 94.2 (mm)
I took very extreme minimum and maximum possible measurements on the image, so the extreme bolt pattern range is 94.2 and 103.7
As Subaru and Toyota uses 5x100 mm in most cases and sometimes 5x114.3, we can guess that the bolt pattern should be 5x100!
I`d be happier for 5x114,3 (much more JDM forged wheel options)
Any comments? Did I do something wrong?
