FT-86 concept studio photoshoot pictures revealed!

Toyota FT86, photoshoot in dark

Toyota releases new photos! Toyota FT86 concept is treated with a closeup and personal studio photoshoot! About 40 exterior photos and a dozen of interior pics for us to enjoy!
On the dashboard you can see Fuji Speedway (owned by Toyota) showing track and GPS position.

The gorgeous 19" alloys are wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza 225/40 R1. Doubtly the FT-86, a rumored $25k car, will roll on 19" wheels which is a slight concern because anything smaller simply wont fill those guards. Also the carbon elements probably will go away to save costs..

The front car design is absolutely stunning! Headlights, bumper and bonnet make it a true JDM piece of art.

toyota ft-86 brakes - advics 4 pot calipers

On the brakes we see title of "ADVICS". ADVICS is a brake system development and marketing company founded jointly in 2001 by AISIN SEIKI Co., Ltd., DENSO Corporation, Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. and Toyota Motor Corporation so it comes as no surprise that ADVICS would be called upon to design and manufacture the braking system for the FT-86 Concept. Whether or not the brake system in whole or part is carried over to the production model remains to be seen so let’s hope that the cost cutting bug doesn’t extend to downgrading the 4-pot calipers to something that soon needs to be upgraded on our budget.

The interior dashboard looks like wrapped in leather and can be opened with zipper. Some suggest that this is new way of dashboard design to cover everything with leather not plastic and opening the zipper would reveal wires n stuff. Handy for us tuners, but how about its lifespan? We will see if it makes to the production.
